There’s a reason this band is called The Movement. One listen, and you’re sure to be moving and grooving along to their reggae-influenced tunes. With a new album, Golden, due out on April 8th, and a major cross-country tour in support of it, there’s just no telling how high this band can climb.
Based out of Columbia, SC, The Movement’s newest album takes its inspiration for the inter-connectedness of the galaxy and human DNA. “I really started to like the idea behind the Fibonacci Code, the Golden Ratio, Golden Mean, Golden Spiral,” says guitarist/vocalist Joshua Swain. “I liked the idea of searching for order and commonality in the chaos.
