Entertainment Weekly has the exclusive premiere of John Brown’s Body’s latest single “Land of Plenty Dub.” The single combines classic dub techniques and tones in a way that transcends the genre norm. Entertainment Weekly writes, “John Brown’s Body is the rare roots reggae group that extends itself beyond simple historical reenactment, working in modern influences to create something that sounds like Lee “Scratch” Perry remixing a Radiohead track.” Their unique and innovative sound has landed them several No. 1 spots on the Billboard reggae chart and solidified their place in the jam band scene.
Almost two years to the day after releasing their beloved Kings and Queens, John Brown’s Body returns with Kings and Queens in Dub. The new album features the entirety of Kings and Queens mixed by a who’s who of dub all-stars including Ticklah, Dubmatix, Dubfader and more. The album will be out April 7 on Easy Star Records and is currently available for pre-order in digital and CD formats.
